Work with Diplomats, Expats and International Civil Servants
Are you looking to start your career in tax advisory work with a client base that is anything but ordinary? At Auwerda & Co, we advise diplomats, employees of international organizations, expats, and other internationally mobile individuals on a wide range of tax matters. This means you'll be working in a unique international environment where no two cases are the same and where you'll develop your skills quickly.
For our office in The Hague, we are looking for a Tax Associate (Graduate) who is eager to grow into an excellent tax advisor.
What will you do?
From day one, you will be an active member of our tax team and work closely with experienced advisors. You will assist with preparing personal income tax returns, help answer clients' tax questions, and learn how to analyse complex tax situations and translate them into practical advice.
Because many of our clients have an international background, you will be exposed to a wide variety of cross-border tax issues related to residence, employment, investments, and wealth planning. As a result, every day brings something new.
Who are we looking for?
You have completed, or are about to complete, a university degree in Tax Law, Tax Economics, or a related fiscal discipline.
Previous experience as a working student, intern, or junior tax professional is welcome, but certainly not required.
More importantly, you are:
- Eager to learn and develop yourself professionally;
- Analytically minded and detail-oriented;
- Comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues;
- Proactive and willing to take responsibility;
- A team player with a positive attitude.
What do we offer?
We are a boutique tax advisory firm with an entrepreneurial mindset and an informal working atmosphere. Our office is located in a pleasant and easily accessible part of The Hague, and you will become part of a close-knit team where collaboration and knowledge-sharing are part of everyday life.
In addition, we offer:
- Excellent on-the-job coaching and mentoring;
- Extensive opportunities for professional development;
- External courses and tax technical training;
- Challenging and varied work;
- Flexibility and autonomy;
- A competitive salary and attractive employment conditions;
- A friendly and supportive working environment.
Why Auwerda & Co?
At Auwerda & Co, you will not only learn the profession of tax advisor, but also work with a fascinating international client base from the very beginning. You will be given responsibility early on, receive excellent guidance, and have plenty of opportunities to grow your career.
Ready to launch your career in tax? We'd love to hear from you.
Please send us your CV and a short motivation letter, and we will be happy to invite you for an introduction.
